Doors 9 kicks off in India on 1 March to discuss Juice: Food, Fuel, Design.
The event, sponsored by Dott 07, will look at the unsustainable trends in food consumption, including the amount of CO2 emissions attributable to the producing, packaging and distribution of food consumed by a family of four in the Western world.
Dott's Urban Farming team and winners from the RSA Design Directions competition will be participating.
We'll have daily updates from India in the Dott blog.

We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious designers to take part in the ECO Design Challenge.
Schools across the North East have been asked to measure the size of their school's ecological and carbon footprint. Once the students have calculated the data, they must design a solution to help reduce the size of the footprint.
We are interested in designers from all backgrounds and disciplines. If you are interested in going back to school and using your experience to inspire Year 8 students, please register your interest. |

Just as many of Dott’s projects are getting ready to ‘go live’, the first to reach its conclusion (for the moment anyway) is DaSH - Design and Sexual Health.
The aim is to design a new sexual health screening service for Gateshead, with the user as the focus, which can provide a pattern for services elsewhere.
With the ink barely dry on their conclusions, we’ll be sharing them with you shortly plus an interview with Senior Producer Louise Hulton. |
